We advised a global minerals company on its potential acquisition of cement-focused mining companies in Zambia. Our scope included due diligence, regulatory advisory, and transactional support. We represented an international sovereign investor on its proposed acquisition of equity in multiple Zambian mining subsidiaries owned by a major global mining conglomerate. The deal involves assets critical to the global energy transition, specifically copper and cobalt deposits, and is among the region’s most significant mining transactions in recent years.
