MAY & Co and CTPD sign MoU
MAY and Company has entered into an MOU with the Centre for Trade Policy and Development (CTPD) for the collaboration on various matters. MAY and Company has agreed to provide its services on a pro-bono basis to CTPD as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
CTPD is a non-profit membership-based trade policy think tank. It aims to promote equitable pro-poor policies and practices in Zambia. CTPD influences pro poor policies in areas of agriculture, mining, environment and access to justice.
In terms of the MOU, MAY and Company has agreed to provide its lawyers to CTPD on a request basis to provide legal guidance, advice and representation to the CTPD on various matters.
Pro Bono Support for Zambia Association of Manufacturers
Our commitment to corporate social responsibility extends to a valuable partnership with the Zambian Association of Manufacturers (ZAM).
We provide pro bono legal expertise, assisting ZAM in addressing critical issues such as policy shifts, employment law, and corporate governance. This collaboration strengthens ZAM’s capacity to support and advocate for Zambia’s thriving manufacturing industry.

Supporting Innovation: Legal Assistance to Startups Through BongoHive
i) Standard Chartered Women in Tech: Support was provided to women-led, tech-based and tech-enabled businesses in Zambia. The programme combined world-class training, strategic mentorship, and equity-free funding to help female entrepreneurs grow their startups and scale sustainable solutions.
